Get ready for a potent astrological period this September, as we navigate a powerful eclipse season! This cycle continues the two-year series on the Pisces/Virgo axis, which began last fall. On September 7th, a Lunar Eclipse in Pisces will stir our emotional depths, followed by a Solar Eclipse in Virgo on September 21st. The influence of each eclipse can be felt for approximately two weeks before and after its exact date.

After a burst of active, fiery energy this spring and summer, Saturn is making a final, brief retreat back into the watery depths of Pisces. From September 1st, 2025 to February 13th, 2026, we have a once-in-a-generation chance to finish up the spiritual work that began in March 2023. This will be our last dance with Saturn in Pisces for nearly three decades, so it's a valuable time to tune in.

Uranus is the bringer of revolution, innovation, and breakthroughs. The sign that Uranus is transiting reveals the areas that we are called to re-invent so that we can grow and evolve. On July 7, 2025, Uranus will enter Gemini, sign of communication, learning, storytelling, and teaching.

As Saturn and Neptune converge in Aries, a rare alignment occurring roughly every 36 years, we stand at the threshold of a new era. This conjunction, building throughout 2025 and culminating in an exact alignment around February 20, 2026, marks a pivotal moment where structure and spirituality merge in the sign of action and initiation.

It then dips back into Pisces before returning to Aries from February 13th, 2026, to April 12th, 2028. As we move into the latter half of 2025, the ongoing Jupiter-Saturn square takes on a new flavor as these planets shift signs. While we've been navigating the tension between Jupiter in Gemini and Saturn in Pisces, the energy will change as Jupiter enters Cancer on June 9th and Saturn enters Aries on May 24th.

The sign Neptune occupies dictates the prevailing strategy for finding meaning, but also highlights potential pitfalls like delusion, deception, and escapism – the shadows we must navigate. Neptune in Aries invites each of us to step into courage as a spiritual practice. We must look at our fears and take action to bring our dreams down to earth.

Mercury is spending its retrograde in a part of the zodiac that is extremely active this year: the last degrees of Pisces and the first degrees of Aries. Pisces is the last sign of the zodiac, while Aries is the first. The pairing of this sign highlights the relationship between receptivity and activity, between being and doing. Mercury’s span of time in these signs invites us to do less talking and more listening. We must also silence the chatter so that we can hear our inner guidance about what steps to take next.

As we journey through the first few months of 2025, we're approaching a powerful eclipse season that will stir up potent energies within us. This March, we'll experience a Lunar Eclipse in Virgo on the 14th, followed by a Solar Eclipse in Aries on the 29th. The lunar eclipse continues the 2-year series in the Pisces/Virgo polarity which began last September. The solar eclipse marks the final eclipse in the Aries/Libra series.

Venus Retrogrades are times when we are invited to reevaluate our values in relationships, as well as in relation to our finances. It is a time to check in with our partnerships and friendships to make sure that the balance is right. Are we getting our needs met? But also, are we being forgiving enough? In regards to money, Venus Retrograde is a good time to make sure that our financial decisions are in alignment with our true values.

On January 28th, 2025, the lunar nodes enter the polarity of Pisces and Virgo, marking a significant shift in our collective journey. They will remain there until August 18, 2026. After a year and a half in Aries and Libra, we're invited to explore new depths of emotional awareness and surrender as we embrace the lessons of Pisces and Virgo.

Mars, the planet of action, passion, and drive, is preparing to go retrograde from December 6, 2024, to February 23, 2025. We are in the pre-shadow October 4 - December 6. The retrograde will take Mars on a two-sign tour, beginning in early Leo before backtracking into Cancer's nurturing waters. 

This fall, we'll experience the first lunar eclipse in a brand new Pisces/Virgo series on September 17th, followed by a solar eclipse in Libra on October 2nd, which marks the near-end of the Aries/Libra cycle.

Mercury, the planet of communication, will be retrograde from August 4th to 28th, 2024. This retrograde takes place across two signs, Virgo and Leo, neatly dividing the retrograde in half. Mercury Retrograde times offer us an opportunity to take a step out of the momentum of everyday life so that we can get perspective. We just need to remember to stop pushing forward.

We're in a fascinating astrological period right now, with the airy energy of Jupiter in Gemini contrasting against the watery depths of Saturn in Pisces.
