This month opens with Mercury exiting its post-retrograde shadow on August 6th, lifting the fog and signaling the go-ahead on things delayed by July’s retrograde. This signal of forward momentum is shortly followed by a Solar Eclipse in Leo on the 12th, which highlights the Leo themes already begun with late June’s entry of Jupiter into Leo.

The current eclipses are lighting up the Taurus/Scorpio polarity. Taurus is about stability, security, and groundedness. Scorpio is about intimacy (with ourselves and others), authenticity, and passion. The light and the shadow of both signs will be available during this period.
