About Me

Additionally, I tutor those who would like to learn more about astrology, or who would like to be astrologers themselves.
I host a podcast through iTunes and this website, "Evolutions of Astrology." The podcast features interviews with astrologers on a variety of topics, as well as offering demonstrations of chart-reading techniques.
I completed a Master’s Degree from Marylhurst University in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2007; my coursework included a study of spiritual traditions and Spiritual Direction. My thesis focused upon the relationship between astrology, divination, and religion. I presented an academic paper on these themes at the Graduate Liberal Arts Symposium at Stanford University in June of 2008 (listen to the audio here). I also completed my formal training and 2-year certification in Spiritual Direction at the Urban Spirituality Center, Portland in June 2009.
As a community college instructor as well as an astrologer, my experience in teaching theory has been a helpful grounding for my practice in astrological instruction. I am also certified through Steven Forrest’s Apprenticeship Program, and I base my approach on the principles of Evolutionary Astrology.
I teach Astrology Classes and am available for private instruction and speaking engagements in addition to my consultations.
